The voice of the Lord to the Saints today is loud and sharply clear: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Thou shalt not steal; neither commit adultery, nor kill, nor do anything like unto it. (D&C 59:6) Notice the Lord does not say “murder,””shed innocent blood,” nor give any other exemption. Nor are there any problems with translations to cause debates about the meaning of the words in question. God has forbidden the Saints to kill for any reason.

American Unemployment Increases to 33 Million. What’s Next?
The horrifying trend towards economic collapse caused by state mandated lockdowns continues and the very real threat of mass starvation looms ever closer, and not just for the poorest countries in the world. With estimates suggesting unemployment may rise as high as 34.6% in April we are looking at crippling rates of unemployment never seen before in American, perhaps even world, history. This is worse than the Great Depression, when unemployment rates topped out at 24.6%. The question is where do we go form here?
