Those chosen few who have been regular readers have undoubtedly noticed that for the past three weeks or so I have not been posting articles at my regular twice a week pace. The reasons for this are varied, but the biggest one is that my work has finally went back in office full time. I simply don’t have the time to produce the kind of work that I have been able to do up to this point. Having launched during the Covid Times, I was able to do more work on my down time than I can now because I had greater access to a computer. I no longer have that access or down time. My two other cohorts in running this site have similar stories of their own.
So, what does that mean?
Well, it means that I will be still posting regularly here. I simply won’t be doing it twice a week. Instead I will be posting regularly every Saturday. I am not saying that I will not ever be posting during the week again. Just that it will be more sporadic and less common than it heretofore has been.
Between work and family demands I simply don’t have the time to do the writing for two articles a week. Which is a bit disappointing. If anything, I wish I could increase the amount I was writing. There is so much going on and so much of it is so twisted and so few of us are addressing it from the Gospel perspectives of obedience to Christ and the protection of human liberty.
Like Alma, I wish I had the trumpet of God to shout what know to the ends of the Earth. Yet, I must be content with what the Lord has given me, be content in the good I can accomplish, and focus on my duties as father and patriarch first and foremost.
The good news is that we aren’t going away. And we aren’t being silenced. Just look forward to us showing up on dependably Saturdays (and throughout the week as manageable) to provide you with the Gospel oriented content evaluating the news of the world and answering the questions about the doctrines of Christ that you have enjoyed thus far.
Thank you for being with me so far. May we have even greater days ahead as we continue this work together.
Æternæ Veritatis,
William H. Douglas
