With the pasisng of President Russel M. Nelson at 101, the entire world has lost the heavenly wisdom and gentle heart of one of the planet’s greatest modern leaders. Here I explore teen insights from President Nelson’s divinely inspired teachings as an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and Prophet of God that have brought me closer to Jesus Christ, deepened my relationship with my Savior, and made my life better, holier, and more joyful.

The Solutions to The Problems of the Modern World
In an age where powerful elements in society are pushing to do everything from obliterate the very concept of a woman by reducing them to such objectified terms such as “menstruating/birthing person” to trying to normalize exposing children to hypersexualized drag shows in order to desensitize them to sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, and transgenderism, this LDS Classic is one of the best addresses that you’ll ever read. Not only does it pinpoint the heart of darkness, the cause of much hate and danger in society today, but it also shows us how and why the doctrines of Christ can and should give us immense hope for tomorrow.
Cancel Culture Is Nothing New. Neither Is Its Solution.
I was watching “Seinfeld,” recently and made a shocking discovery. Not only did the show directly take on the topic of abortion (and deliver a more pro-life message than is commonly known and maybe even than was intended), but it also took on what we call cancel culture today and showed us how to handle it. When the PC mobs are foaming at the mouth at anyone who dares utter something not already on the 3×5 card of allowable opinion while also destroying the lives of many people who never stray from the Approved Beliefs, it can be hard to know what to do in order to survive as an intelligent and independent human being. But “Seinfeld” showed us how to do it decades ago – call the cancel culture cultists out as the morons they really are and expose their beliefs for their fundamental idiocy.
The Science and Ethics of Abortion
Abortion is one of those “hot topics” that really shouldn’t be that “hot.” None of the ethical, scientific, or moral questions people raise about abortion are really relevant – they’ve all been answered multiple times. Yet, many of the same people who will lecture you about how you should “trust the science” and “believe the experts” actually do those things regarding abortion. When abortion comes up it is all unscientific, nonsensical, unethical, and insane nonsense.
But what do “experts” – actual biologists – say about when human life begins? In this article I establish what the actual scientific consensus is on this subject. Then, informed by the real science, I use that knowledge to evaluate the ethical arguments surrounding abortion – such as the issue of bodily autonomy, the concept of “personhood,” the argument concerning dangerous illegal abortions, cases of rape and incest, and medical necessity.
What Mormon Women Had To Say About Polygamy- Part 3
This is the final part in this series where I have been comparing the actual words from women who lived in plural marriages with the claims that anti-Mormons make about what is was like for Latter-day Saint women. Unsurprisingly they do not match up. Latter-day Saint women found polygamy to be a liberating experience and say government efforts to eliminate polygamy as tyrannical and oppressive. They called the government out on the hypocrisy of claiming polygamy was oppressive whilst using state power to actually engage in oppressing women who wanted to engage in polygamy.
In the addresses reprinted herein they also discuss how polygamy helps to limit and eliminate serious social ills such as adultery, prostitution, elective abortion, and sexual immorality.
We also get an interpretation of the Twelfth Article of Faith that contradicts how most members today understand it but which the speaker learned directly from the Prophet Joseph Smith.
Finally these women saw that as the government increasingly legislated morality it wouldn’t only cause a massive loss of liberty but it would lead to social chaos, predicting the situation we find ourselves in now. They even endorse what today we would recognize as nullification.
These women were incredible and they deserve your time. You will be enlightened.
Why The Governments of Men Are the Enemies of God
A few weeks back I wrote an article based on the writings of Dr. Carl Jung and his insights into the way that the very nature of human psychology makes the slide of the State , no matter how minimal or minarchist, into oligarchy and autocracy inevitable. This week I continue to use Dr. Jung’s observations and insights into the human psyche in order to explain why the above described operation of the State sets it at opposition to religion, to explain why religion and the State are always enemies to one another and why the State always seeks to control, corrupt, or eliminate religion. Dr. Jung explores how the State operates as religion in the lives of the people, promising salvation in the material world in exchange for the people surrendering their individuality and liberty to the politicians who run the State. Religion provides the ability of the people to have morality outside of the power of the State to control and therefore provides a challenge to the authority of the State which it cannot allow.
Abortion: Science, Ethics, and Religion
The arguments that go to defending this wicked practice of abortion can be largely classified into three categories – arguments based on science, arguments based on ethics, and arguments based in religion. I address all three of these categories and demonstrate how the science, ethics, and religion all demolish pro-abortionist arguments and support those who want to preserve the human rights of children in the womb to their right to Life. In the section on science I draw upon a milestone study carried out by Dr. Steven Jacobs where he spoke to around 5,500 biologists from every religious and political perspective, those who call themselves pro-choice as well as pro-life, and asked them about what the scientific evidence says about when human life begins. The results of his study will shock some of you, especially those who have long been fed the lie that this is a question that scientific study is somehow incapable of solving. In the ethics section, I address a multitude of ethical and ideological argument used to justify abortion, including concepts of bodily autonomy, feminism, personhood, rape, incest, and medical necessity. In the religion section I draw upon the teachings of the modern Prophets and Apostles about what they have to say about the topic of abortion and the Church’s stance on not only those who get abortions, but even those who simply aid or encourage people to get abortions. Finally, I address the inherently racist and eugenic nature of abortion and political consideration about how to foster a Culture of Life.
