“The Last Battle,” is the final entry in the beloved The Chronicles of Narnia series. Not only is it a thrillingly desperate adventure story, it is also a deep commentary on the apostate nature of contemporary Christianity, the agnosticism and atheism that Christianity naturally produces, a warning about what happens when we act as if Evil does not exist, and a confrontation with some very deep questions about the meaning and necessity of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It deals with some very heavy questions in without beating you over the head with them.

For a long time I have looked for a clear and attractive graph or poster of the Plan of Salvation. It is easier for children and adults to better understand the Plan once it is laid out for them. Despite appreciating one recently published in a church magazine, it is imperfect because it lacks critical elements like the Fall of Adam and Eve. To address this, I have created a revised, detailed version with added scriptural references and explanations to people understand the Plan of Salvation. The One and Only Path to Peace
One of my favorite Christmas hymns is, “I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day.” Based on the poem, “Christmas Bells,” by poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the hymn confronts the pains of living in mortality and facing evil directly as well as the means by which we triumph over evil. The story behind the hymn only enhances its message and helps us to understand the powerful of Hope and Faith in our every day lives.
Why Don’t More People Fully Live The Gospel?
If there is one thing Christians are good at it is ignoring Christ. No, I don’t mean we pretend that the Bible doesn’t exist or that Jesus didn’t say this or that thing. Rather, we do everything to explain away what Jesus said, to tell ourselves and others that despite what it sounds like, Jesus didn’t really mean what He said. That way, other than giving some faint lip service to some vaguely humanistic and definitively idolatrous concept of “being nice” we can still get away with doing whatever it is we want to do. But in doing so we lose not only the power of Christianity but the heart of it as well – we lose Jesus. I see it and experience it all the time. It is the very problem that I have dedicated my life to resisting and changing, the very purpose for which this site was created. This article is about why we ignore Jesus and what we can do to change this inclination so that we can more truly follow Him.
